Ladies,
I am stepping away from the challenge. I find myself stressed to the max and this challenge is not helping, only making it worse for me right now. I thought I was ready to tackle it, but not quite yet. I've found I do better on my own right now than with the challenge. I eat better, maybe not exercise better, but I feel better about myself. I feel like my life is chaos right now (still adjusting to baby and schedules) and I need to give myself a break. So carry on. My $10 will still be in the pot for the winner, but I am stepping away. Go babes!

Leslee Week 4
Here I am.....Thinking I was going to do so well....and between all the driving, and errands and extra stuff I had to do after work this last week........The Mt. Dew Won......AND I didn't say no to really anything.......
Then there were 3 birthday party celebrations this weekend between My Family, My Husbands Family....and my Dad taking us out to dinner for my little boys birthday.......Cake......I did say no to cake......but that doesn't mean the other yummy stuff wasn't around. AND that also means my time to work out....was minimal (aka NONE) So......
22 Points plus a Bonus for posting........23 for a Grand Total for week 4. Woot Woot! :) Please tell me you all struggled just as much this week. Lets cross our fingers February will be easier.

Ashlee Week 3
Last week was not a good one for me. My baby had the croup so I didn't get much sleep which then made me too tired during the day so I didn't exercise. Plus I made Oreo brownies which were just too delicious to just have one. 17 points for me on Week 3. I am trying really really hard to be better this week!

Jami - Week 3
This week was worse than last week :(. I have to STOP BAKING!!! So I ate sweets everyday and one day since all I ate for lunch was cookies, I garbaged out that day. I come in at 21 points plus the bonus point for posting on time, with a grand total of 22. This week, I am not going to bake any home-baked goodness because I have no control!!

Week 3 Leslee
Here we go. I thought this week would be better but it just looks to be about the same. I had a 3 day go at no treats and it was good.....hard but good. Then the weekend came, and I caved and instead of just one treat for my cheat day.....it was a bit more then that so my points still went away :) So for the week I had 26 points (that includes the point for posting on time) It's a work in progress. I'm hoping to go at least 4 days if not 5 with out losing that darn treat point! I'm great with drinking water and my goal point of stretching every day. Fruits and Veggies are my favorite so that gets taken care of with my green shake in the morning. We'll get back to the exercising too. I did that one a few times but not every day like I would like. Here's to a new Week.....BRING IT ON!

Week 2 Kelsey
This week didn't go as well as I wanted it to be. Along with everyone else, weekends kill me. I can't get away from those treats. My points for this week were 26 plus the bonus point, so 27 total.
I never posted at the beginning of the challenge, so my name is Kelsey and I know most of you so I don't feel the need to introduce myself. But I am in love with my new husband and food. This challenge won't stop my love for food, but it will hopefully put it into moderation. My personal goal is to lay out my outfit for the next day the night before. I waste SO much time in the morning trying to decide what to wear and end up making my room a disaster. So I'm going to set out my clothes the night before to help me be on time to work each day. I'm excited for this challenge and I hope I can actually stay with it this time. Let the babe challenge begin...for real this time.

Ashlee Week 2
Not a fabulous week for me but better than the last. I agree with Jami, weekends kill me. I missed 4 days of having my green smoothie. I need to work on that!I missed two days of working out. And I missed 3 days of 64 oz of water. As well as no point earned for having a brownie on Sunday after I already had my treat for the week. They just looked to delicious to resist! Obviously I have a lot to improve on! So my total points plus the bonus for posting on time is 25. Here's to a better 3rd week!!
Jami Week 2
Hi There. So it's obvious to me where my problems lie, its the weekends!! I spent the weekend with my sister which means chips & salsa, diet coke & brownies. I did good with my personal goals, water, fruits/veggies but treats & weekends are HARD for me. I got 27 points with the 1 bonus for posting before 10, so I'm at 28 for this week.
Leslee Week 2
Hello....I too didn't do the greatest this week but its a work in progress. I wasn't able to work out as much as I would like. (I'm still trying to get back into the swing of that) and the treats......yeah....that one gets me DAILY!! But here I am 25 plus a bonus for posting on time so 26 :) This week will be better for sure!! I'm just shooting for better and healthier habits!!
Kristin- Week 2
This week TOTALLY stunk!!!! The stars aligned just perfectly for a perfect storm in my week. I will just give a brief overview. Period in full force, my cute little baby has decided she no longer wants to sleep at night, was up 3-4 times each night with her, my other children decided they needed to get up at night too, so add another 1-2 times with them. So basically I've running on no sleep. I'm the YW pres and everything has been booming there too. New year stuff, big recipe book needed to be done last week, we're doing a big indexing challenge, and that all needed to be done as well. Our good friends just found out he's been laid off, I was suppose to have lunch group at my house, I had 10 (really) loads of laundry that needed to be folded and put away. No excuses really, but I caved BIG TIME this week. Food was my comfort. I'm not proud to say it, but it was fabulous. I could cry and have a Dr. Pepper and an oreo and I felt better for a minute. The only thing I did good with this week was water and eating one fruit/one vegie each day. Everything else was very hit and miss. I garbaged out several days, ate past 8 pm 5 of the 7 days. CRAPPY CRAPPY!! I ended up with 18 + 1 bonus for posting on time.
Infact, funny thing. My mom called me one day and asked what I was doing, I honestly said just eating cookies, lots and lots of cookies.
Baby was up only once last night, other kiddos stayed in bed. It's amazing what a little sleep does. This week will be better.

Congrats Ladies!
Okay so I'm sorry for being so late on getting this organized...but I have sent out invitations to all of your emails so that you can be an author on this blog and write posts like this instead of comments. Just go and accept the invitation, then you'll be able to post your points each week.
We had a few more people join in the middle of the week, and some people haven't posted at all yet.
So, I decided to make this previous week a practice week! You all get the full 35 points. If you did really bad, then good news for you! If you did really good, then you'll do even better this week. Good luck this week ladies!
Oh, and make sure that the personal goal you chose is MEASURABLE! You either do it or don't, it's not a judgement call. So make sure that it's something you can measure.
Let the real contest begin!

Week One- Kristin
This week was good for me. I did lose one point for eating after 8pm on Saturday. Jared and I decided to have date night after the kids went to bed. I did not eat any oreos, which is a great thing for me. So if I'm doing this right- 5 days, so that means a possible total of 25 plus a bonus for posting on time. I get 24 points plus one bonus for posting on time. This challenge is kicking my butt today, all I want is a big ole' Dr. Pepper and a big bag of double stuff oreos. Time for will power to kick in.

Rules of the Game
Even though today is the first day of the new year, we're going to start on Wednesday so that we have one last day to eat whatever the heck we want.
Here are the rules:
1. Put 10 bucks into the pot. Winner takes all. (give your money to Kelsey and she'll keep it safe)
2. BE HONEST. Cheaters never win and winners never cheat.
3. Keep track of your points! You can earn up to 5 points a day, 35 points a week.
Point 1: Drink 64 oz of water per day. If this seems hard, but just get a big Smart Water bottle and drink 2 of those. That's it.
Point 2: Be active/exercise 5 days a week. For the other two days, you get a free point, basically.
Point 3: Eat 1 vegetable and 1 fruit per day...at the very least.
Point 4: Good eating day/no treats. There is a fine line between what is a treat and what isn't, but use your best judgement and you can decide for yourself. But you do get ONE treat a week without losing any points (you pick the day you want it).
Point 5: Personal Goal. This can be anything you want, but it must be measurable! (Getting 7 hours of sleep each day, reading sciptures, washing your face, making your bed, Green Smoothies, no eating before 8 p.m., anything that can be measured.)
Treat Point Breakdown:
No treats = 1 point
1 treat = 0 points
Garbage Out (more than one treat in a day) = -1 point. Notice the negative.
4. Post your points every Monday by 10:00 p.m.
Posting on time gets you 1 bonus point per week.
5. Be prepared to unleash that INNER BABE!
Before we start on Wednesday, publish a post telling us about yourself and why you joined this contest. Tell us your definition of a good eating day, and let us in on your personal goal.
